 I am interested in the movement ecology of large long-lived avian species. My PhD research will study the Interior Population of Trumpeter Swans in the western Great Lake region. We hope to evaluate annual movements including migration flyways, timing and duration of migration, and the role of molt migration as well as resource use and habitat selection.
