Conservation of Populations, Species, and Ecosystems
Ecological and/or Genetic Issues in Conservation
Social and Cultural Aspects of Conservation
I am a PhD student in wildlife ecology and management. My interests are focused on the human dimensions of conservation, with a concentration on the influence of anthropogenic factors on the epidemiology of wildlife diseases. My particular research focuses on the human dimensions of chronic wasting disease management, including the effects of perceived risks on hunter recruitment and retainment and the effects of hunting behavior on disease risk and prevalence.
